On a weekend that storms were set to hit London town, I was off to review Wireless Bootcamp with Sam Warrington Fitness on Clapham Common, the latest craze to hit the city! This 45 minute outdoor workout is very different from anything I’ve ever experienced before as you wear super cool headphones which allow you to listen to booming tracks even though you’re outside & you hear all of the instructions through them too – pretty cool huh?! There’s no crazy instructor shouting at you across the field & it basically allows you to completely get in your own little zone without any distractions. The music really spurred me on, motivating me the whole way through and I’m not going to lie – I got very excited as you will see in the video! You have your own volume control on the headphones & you can work at your own pace, making it suitable for people of all fitness levels! When I arrived I really didn’t know what to expect but then all of a sudden a group of bouncing girlies rocked up at the meeting point, our instructor Alistair was dishing out the headphones & then we were off!
We ran to warm up, bounced around cones, hopped, sprinted & generally got our heart rates racing. Then it was time for some bodyweight squats & lunges and wow did I feel my legs burn! The high intensity interval training throughout got the whole group sweating PLUS rather muddy on this occasion – top tip: don’t wear a peach top like I did :) The short bursts of partner work were great for toning the little bits around your tummy that you might not like right now, and the best two words I can use to describe this bootcamp would be FANTASTICALLY FUN! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MY REVIEW VIDEO THEN CLICK HERE NOW My Fabulous Instructor Alistair & I I do want to say a massive thank you to all of the girlies who I trained with too, you were all absolutely amazing & thanks so much for letting me film it too! My next thank you definitely goes to Alistair from Sam Warrington Fitness for conducting a fabulous bootcamp and of course Wireless Fitness for providing those funky headphones – really making it a bootcamp with a difference!
